Our common goal
Our common goal is to contribute to improved diagnostics and patient care in Germany. We can all fall ill at some point and want the best possible medical care. By participating in my medical microbiology training courses, you are making a valuable contribution to this. Together, we have the opportunity to positively influence our healthcare system—if others don’t do it, then we will.
Have the courage to leave your comfort zone and let’s change healthcare together. Each of us is convinced that we do good work, and there’s no denying that. But questioning ourselves and continuously improving is our standard for medical care!
My offer for you
Through my courses, you will not only gain a deeper understanding of microbiological diagnostics, but also be able to sustainably improve the quality of your clinical work.verbessern. For Urologists
Microbiological urine diagnostics 2.0 for urinary tract infections
Microbiological training courses are often very general or only cover certain areas of microbiology. I offer training specifically tailored to urological practices, covering all topics relevant to urine diagnostics for UTIs. This course focuses on pre-analysis, manual identification of pathogens, creating antibiograms, and the important topic of antibiotic resistance, enabling you to refine your diagnostics in practice.

Pre-analytics in microbiology
Pre-analytics in microbiology is a crucial part of the overall diagnostic process. It encompasses all measures that take place before the actual microbiological analysis—from correct sample collection and preparation to sample inoculation.
Â
Proper preanalytics is essential for obtaining reliable and meaningful results. In the worst case, incorrect or false findings are produced, which always has a negative impact on patient care.

Antibiotic Resistance
Further training on the topic of antibiotic resistance is essential in order to raise awareness among professionals about the growing threat posed by resistant pathogens and to provide them with practical knowledge. The training covers topics such as the mechanisms of resistance development, the responsible use of antibiotics, and current strategies for preventing and controlling infections. The aim is to raise awareness of the importance of targeted antibiotic therapy and to strengthen decision-making skills in order to protect public health in the long term.

Why you can only benefit from my courses
- I have a high level of expertise in the field of medical microbiology.
- The courses are designed to be practical and include many illustrative examples.
- Thanks to my many years of experience in the lab, I have a wealth of anecdotes to share from everyday lab life, some of which are amusing but also instructive. I know exactly where the problem lies, and these experiences are reflected in my courses.
- I critically question what I've learned and encourage you to do the same. Only in this way can we continuously improve our way of thinking and working.
My expertise
My name is Jane. I’m a chemist, microbiologist, and infection epidemiologist with over 15 years of laboratory experience. Through my training as a microbiologist and infectious disease epidemiologist, I also gained extensive knowledge in serology and PCR, thus expanding my knowledge of other microbiological testing methods. Until 2023, I held a senior position in microbiology. My work in the laboratory has brought me into close contact with practices and hospitals, possibly even with you. This allows me to know where the problems lie and where improvements are desirable.
